Our Vision
To meet the youth of today where they are; To show them the love of Jesus; To disciple the youth into mature Christians; To develop capable Christian leaders.
Our Mission
The youth of the Bridge will become strong Christians grounded in God's Word. This will happen through bible study, relationship building, and mentoring. Bible study will take place Sunday morning as well as during other activities. There will be regular scheduled discipleship classes as well as discipleship through building relationships with the youth. Relationships will be built during activities at church as well as activities happening away from the church. As relationships develop, the youth will also see that learning about God can be fun. Through this realization the youth will care for each other and pray for each other.
Sunday Bible Study
The Sunday Morning Bible Study will be a time of Bible study and spiritual growth. We offer classes on different subjects and a variety of topics. A discipleship class will be offered at least once a year. There will be an ongoing focus on general life issues as well as looking at Bible passages in depth. Each class will last for a specified period of time.
Youth Blast
Youth Blast is a high energy outreach program with topical devotions. This will be a time of forming friendships, having fun, and introducing friends to Jesus Christ. Youth Blast will consist of four areas. The ice breaker is an opening activity to promote mixing within the group. Devotion time follows snack time. The evening ends with a time of activity and fun.
Wednesday Night Prayer
A time of prayer during which personal prayer request will be shared and taken to God. Youth will be uplifted and concerns discussed. Gods direction for these concerns will be sought through prayer and bible study. This will be a group where close personal relationships are begun and youth seek God.
Mission
The mission's program is designed to allow the youth to put their faith in action. Through the missions program youth care for others, show Jesus' love, and tell others about Jesus. The youth have participated in mission trips to minister to people in other states as well as participating in local missions projects.
Outreach
Outreach Events are part of the youth program showing fun associated with the church. Through a time of fun, the youth in the group bond with each other in a non-threatening environment. Youth from backgrounds of little to no Christian exposure are encouraged to attend these events. Outreach events are designed to show both Christian and non-Christian that being a follower of Christ is fun.
